Regular board meetings are held the second Thursday of the month at 4:00 pm in the library meeting room (exceptions are posted in the library). Meetings are open to the public. Board committees meet on the third Thursday of each month at 4:00 pm, as needed. Community members who wish to attend in person may contact the library at 585-243-0440 or email@example.com
Are you interested in serving on the Wadsworth Library Board? Wadsworth Library invites petitioners for its Board of Trustees. There are three open positions (2) three-year term and (1) one-year term starting July 1, 2024 and continuing through June 30, 2027.
Trustees must be residents of the Geneseo Central School district, which encompasses the towns of Geneseo and Groveland, and must be 18 years of age.
The Board meets monthly on the second Thursday of the month at 4:00pm.
Each Board member also serves on one or more working committees.
The time commitment is approximately 6-8 hours per month.
Each candidate will need to submit a petition with 25 signatures from eligible voters in the district.
Petitions will be available at the library in late March. Check our newspaper of record, Livingston County News, for the official announcement.
This is a wonderful way to get involved and make sure the library remains an outstanding, vital part of the community.
