Whodunit? Mystery Book Club – First Thursday of the Month from 3:30-4:30 pm

Summer Reading Bingo Challenge – July 6 – August 28
Participate in summer fun at the library!
Pick up a bingo card at the circulation desk. Complete the challenges and for every BINGO receive a ticket for a chance to be entered to win a gift basket at the end of summer. Open to adults 18 and older.
Wadsworth Library Book Club – Second Monday of the Month – Zoom meetings: 5:00-6:00 pm & In-person meetings: 6:30-7:30 pm
Join us for book club at the library! Two separate meetings are held the second Monday of the month. Zoom (online) meetings are held from 5:00-6:00 pm. Participants will receive the Zoom link to join prior to each online meeting. In-person meetings are held from 6:30-7:30 pm in the library’s children’s programming room on the second floor.

*Guided Painting: Camping Scene – Monday, July 20 from 6:00-7:30 pm
Join us for a guided painting workshop! Artist Lisa Celestino will guide you through a painting. Open to teens and adults ages 13 & up. Registration opens Monday, June 22.
*Get Into Shapes with Bookmarks: Beginner Enameling – Friday, July 24 from 2:30-4:00 pm
Artist Pam Hill will teach participants how to use various shapes and apply different colors of fine ground enamel to create a custom-made bookmark. Open to adults 18 and older. Registration opens Friday, June 26.
Local History Programs presented by The Livingston County Historian’s Office – Monday evenings at 5:30 pm
July 27 – Sullivan Campaign of the American Revolution
Livingston County historian Holly Watson will discuss the Sullivan Campaign, a complex event of the American Revolution that has had a lasting impact on Indigenous people and the trajectory of Western New York. The Genesee Valley is at the heart of the events of almost 250 years ago.
August 24 – Agricultural Innovation in the Genesee Valley
Agriculture is a bedrock industry in the Genesee Valley. Livingston County historian Holly Watson will discuss how generations of farmers have grown and become innovated in making the hard work of farming a little easier while nourishing the county and beyond.
September 21 – Craig Colony: Letchworth’s Influence and a Journey of Change
Explore William Pryor Letchworth’s role in establishing Craig Colony for Epileptics at Sonyea. Livingston County historian Holly Watson will discuss how the institution evolved over the next nine decades, ending with how we can continue Letchworth’s legacy of advocacy.
These classes are open to adults and teens. Registration is not required.

*Wood Flower Book Vase Craft Class with Geek Chic Floral Boutique – Monday, August 31 from 5:30-7:30 pm
Create a one-of-a-kind vase using a hardcover book and beautiful wood flowers, turning a literary classic into a stunning piece of art for your home. Open to adults 18 and older. Registration opens Monday, August 3. Visit this link to sign up for the class.
*Ceramic Mug Painting Class – Thursday, September 17 from 1:30-4:30 pm
Participants will choose a ceramic mug to paint. The mugs will be pre-made on a pottery wheel and fired once to a ceramic state, then ready to design and paint with glaze. Open to adults 18 and older. Registration opens Thursday, August 20. Visit this link to sign up for the class.
